Police in the North say a young boy found wondering the streets last night, has been reunited with his parents

There was some good news released late last night as police in the North have confirmed that a young boy, who is understood to have Down’s Syndrome, found wondering a Belfast street on his own has thankfully been reunited with his parents.

The young boy named Oliver, believed to be four-years-old, was found wearing a sleep suit by a member of the public in the Conway Street area at approximately 8pm on Friday evening.
He was subsequently taken into care of the PSNI who made an appeal for his family to get in contact.

The PSNI say the boy’s family got in contact a short time later and where questioned about the incident but were aloud to return home with the boy not long afterwards after the boy’s parents gave statement explaining what happened. It is understood that no charges will be brought against the boy’s parents.
