Police officer sustains stabbing injuries during attack in Stockholm

There are reports this afternoon that a police officer has sustained stabbing injuries during an attack in Stockholm, Sweden, earlier today.

The incident happened in the Björns Trädgård park, in the central area of the city. It is understood that the wounds inflicted are non-life threatening.

A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the attack. Local authorities have not yet confirmed the motive for the stabbing.
