Labour’s Joan Burton and Alan Kelly are said to be in talks with Enda Kenny and other government officials this morning in relation to people refusing to pay for Irish Water.
In what only can be described as political suicide, the government is said to be strongly thinking of sneaking into people’s bank accounts and removing an amount which equates to their Irish Water bill.
Leaked information also leads the public to believe that anyone refusing to pay who is part of the public service will have their wages docked before entering their bank account.
If these measures go ahead, it surely will be the final straw for this government.
