Last week it came to light that the scandal-ridden Irish branch of Amnesty International is refusing to obey the ruling by the Standards in Public Office (SIPO) which ordered it to return a donation of just over $150,000 (€137,000) to the Open Societies Foundation, which is run by multi-Billionaire George Soros.
Judging by social media – Amnesty Ireland’s executive director Colm O’Gorman will not give the enormous illegal donation back so we asked you what you thought.
The results speak for themselves, out of almost 1700 people polled just under 80% say the Irish branch of Amnesty International should be forced to send the €137,000 back to the George Soros funded foundation.
