We held a poll last night that asked the question – Do you, our readers, think MMA should be banned in Ireland?
The response was an emphatic one and the results speak for themselves. Going to print this evening, over 1,000 people took part in the poll on our website by simply clicking yes or no.
With that in mind, congratulations MMA fans – a massive 70% of those who voted said No to a ban of MMA in Ireland.
The comments on the article on the website and on our Facebook page shows that MMA is very popular with the Irish public.
We’ve included a select number of comments below – but again, at least 70% were in favour of the Mixed Martial Arts sport.
