Poll results show declining support for coalition parties, and also a sharp decrease of popularity for Gerry Adams

The latest political poll shows a general decline in support for the coalition parties. The same poll also shows that Gerry Adams’ popularity has declined by six points in the wake of the controversy about the IRA murder of prison officer Brian Stack.

Fine Gael drops two points, currently standing at 26%.

Fianna Fail has also lost two points, currently enjoying a 28% support index.

Sinn Fein, meanwhile, has risen two points, but its leader Gerry Adams has endured a drop of six popularity points in the wake of his alleged involvement in the IRA murder of prison officer Brian Stack.
