President Michael D Higgins official inauguration could be put back upon his request.
It is understood President Higgins requested that his inauguration ceremony will be moved back in order for the public to participate in the Armistice commemorations.
According to RTÉ News, President Higgins has requested that his official ceremony be pushed back until the evening time of Saturday November 11th.
President Higgins who has submitted the request to the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar as he feels conscious of the clash given that the Armistice commemorations will mark 100 years since the end of World War I.
