The U.S President Donald Trump has tweeted a direct warning to Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani after he promised the United States the “mother of all wars” if they were to have an armed conflict with his country, the BBC reported on Monday.

Since their withdrawal from the Iranian Nuclear Deal, the U.S has threatened sanctions against countries and corporations still doing business with Iran and buying the country’s oil.
In response the Iranian leadership has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, through which 30% of the world’s crude oil passes, Bloomberg reported last week, this could plunge the global economy into an unprecedented crisis.
