The company currently operates two bars in Ireland, and it’s on course to open another three by the end of this summer.
Tim Martin, Wetherspoon’s chairman and founder, confirmed to media that The Great Wood in Blanchardstown will open on June 23, The Old Borough in Swords on July 21 and The Linen Weaver in Cork city on September 1.
Mr. Martin added that the two existing bars, the Three Tun Tavern in Blackrock and the Forty Foot in Dun Laoghaire, are doing good business and that work on their Camden Street location is currently underway.
