The race to become the next President of Ireland could very well get underway tomorrow as a formal order could be signed.
According to RTÉ News, the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government Eoghan Murphy is set to sign the order tomorrow.
If signed this week, candidates will have from August 30th to September 26th to submit their nominations to contest the election.
Although no official date has been set, RTÉ News say the election could take place on either Thursday October 25th or Friday October 26th.
