There is no let up to the wet weather spell of recent days.

Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow warning for counties Cork, Kerry, and Waterford today. Rainfall of up to 30mm is expected.

The warning will remain in effect until 8pm this evening.

Meanwhile, some areas of Co. Clare remain at risk of flooding, due to high water levels in the Parteen Weir.

Some 14 houses had to be evacuated yesterday, and a number of vehicles were damaged in the wake of some of the most severe flooding seen in recent times.
