The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) have today issued an urgent recall notice for batches of spinach leaves, due to contamination with Listeria.
The batches in question were on sale under different names through Dunnes, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Supervalu.
The FSAI said that the batches involved have a code of 260 and 261.
Any customer who may have bought these products is advised to dispose of it immediately.
