A number of transport operators have confirmed that services will either be cancelled or suspended tomorrow (Thursday) due to the bad weather.
In announcement made today both Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann said no buses will run on Thursday as heavy snowfall has hampered driving conditions.
In a brief announcement Bus Éireann said there will be no bus services in Leinster and Munster on Thursday due to the ongoing weather conditions.
Dublin Bus have also confirmed that there will be no buses running, after management decided to suspend its services in the interest of public safety.
Meanwhile Irish Rail have confirmed that a number of trains in Leinster will be cancelled and that all services will be suspended by 2pm on Thursday.
It is understood the transport disruption comes after heavy snow fell overnight on Tuesday, it is expected that the country will be subjected to much harsher conditions on Thursday as further snowfall is expected on Wednesday night.
