The Taoiseach, Tanaiste, and Minister for Foreign Affairs will today attend events to remember the men and women who perished during the First World War.
The Taoiseach will lay a wreath at Enniskillen, where a Remembrance Day celebration in 1987 turned to tragedy when an IRA bombing killed 11 and injured over 60.
The Tanaiste will attend a ceremony in St. Patrick’s cathedral in Dublin, and the Minister for Foreign Affairs will be in attendance at the Cenotaph in Belfast., where he will lay a laurel wreath.
The Irish ambassador to Britain will also lay a wreath during the commemoration ceremony in London.
