The American rapper and world renowned star Nelly has been reportedly arrested this afternoon in connection withe alleged rape of a woman on his tour bus in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to entertainment website TMZ the star who has sold millions of records worldwide was arrested by police in Washington at approximately 7am this morning after the unnamed reported the alleged attack which apparently occurred at 3.45am this morning.
The arrest comes as the musician is currently on tour with country band Florida Georgia Line who were due to perform in the town of Ridgefield tonight.
