Republic of Ireland International and Everton FC footballer has yet again suffered another horrific injury after he sustained a double leg break during today’s game against West Bromwich Albinon.
Mccarthy who has been unfortunately the victim of a number of injuries in the past, horrifically sustained the break after he went into for a tackle with West Brom striker Salomon Rondon who was attempting a strike on goal.
According to various sports outlets the incident left the West Bromwich striker Rondon in tears after he witnessed Mccarthy’s anguish.
Mccarthy who was making his return from a previous injury was given a standing ovation from all corners of the Goodison Park.
