Respecting the Irish flag – Lithuanian lady living in Cork praised for ironing the Irish flag before she flew it in her home

In response to The Liberal’s article to the disgraceful attack on the Tri-Colour by Solidarity Party Councillor Matt Waine, as being a racist symbol offensive to Non-Nationals living in Ireland The Liberal was in contact with a Lithuania woman who has been living in Kerry for the past 10 years.

Jurga Barauskaitė praised the article defending the flag and pointing out the stupidity of Cllr Waine and his asinine argument.

Having two children born in Ireland, this country is Jurga’s home and she emphasised while she has not rejected her native countries traditions, but Ireland is her home, and that all people who move to Ireland should respect Irish culture, traditions and laws and of course the flag.

It’s important to remember in light of this controversy caused by one moron county councillor spouting cultural Marxism, that his words are as abhorrent to so many non-nationals living in Ireland as they are to the vast majority of Irish born citizens.

It must be made clear to the PC brigade out there that this kind of nonsense is simply considered ridiculous to every sensible person in Ireland, natural born citizens or not.

Sadly the wise words of Jurga and so many others like her will fall on the deaf ears of the lunatic left, who feel they and they alone have a right to speak for minority groups in Ireland, despite who ill fitted they are to do so.
