In a revealing article in the Irish Independent, American billionaire George Soros has been outted as funding groups pushing an abortion agenda in Ireland.
Soros, who is said to be worth in excess of $25 billion and one of the 30 riches people in the world gave Amnesty International, headed up by Colm O’Gorman, a whopping $137,000.
The 86-yr-old businessman also gave help funding Abortion Rights Ireland and the Irish Family Planning Association.
All three organisations are running an ardent campaign to repeal the 8th amendment.
The Pro Life Campaign told the Independent:
“These revelations are extremely disturbing,” said spokeswoman Cora Sherlock.
“The fact that an outside body is talking about funding and coordinating groups in Ireland to dismantle protection for the unborn child represents a gross interference and is an attack on democracy.
“I think most people want to see a fair debate regardless of where they stand on the issue.
“The public will be deprived of such a debate if this kind of meddling continues from well-funded outside bodies.”
But the question of external funding really needs to be answered by the groups receiving the millions.
One hundred years ago men and women fought for our right to determine our own future, moreover in recent times it’s one of the main reasons why ‘Brexit’ happened in the UK.
Do people care about such a revelation? Maybe, maybe not.
Should they? Definitely.
We, the Irish people, determine what happens on these shores. No pressure pot with deep pockets and innumerable reasons to create an Irish abortion industry in Ireland should ever have a legitimate means of doing so.
