Rumours are running wild in the boxing world that one of the greatest boxing champions in living memory Wladimir Klitschko is coming out of retirement to once again regain his belts.
Klitschko was one half of the Klitschko brothers. His brother Vitali is now a politician in their home country of the Ukraine.
Wlad hasn’t fought since losing a very close fight to Anthony Joshua in April 2017 – he is one of the only men to knock down Joshua, but just hadn’t enough to finish him.
Klitschko has denied rumours that he is secretly planning a major comeback, but a potential oppenent of his, Dillian Whyte confirmed on a Youtube boxing channel interview that Klitschko is just playing games with the media denying that he is not coming back when in fact secret negotiations for a super fight with Whyte have already been talked about.
Whatever happens, with Fury, Wilder, AJ, Chisora, Miller and now possibly Klitschko, the heavyweight boxing world is very much alive.
