The problems faced by embattled airline Ryanair are set to become a whole lot worse, as Portugal-based pilots have announced their intention to join the one-day strike set for December 20.
Pilots in Italy are also poised for strike action this coming Friday, and a further group in German may also join in soon.
The airline took a hardline stance against the threats, stating that any pilots joining the picket line will see their pay benefits and possibilities of promotion curtailed.
