During the airline’s AGM held today, it was announced that the full-year profits for 2014 will be in the upper end of its current expectations, anything between €620m and €650m. Shares traded 2% higher in Dublin this lunchtime.

Sources from the company also announced that Ryanair is raising its full year traffic forecast from 86 to 87 million customers due to the ongoing success of its “Always Getting Better” initiatives, which were gradually introduced over the last few months in an effort to boost the airline’s overall reputation.

These new initiatives include a newly revamped website and a brand new mobile app, a free second carry-on bag, and a new service for families.

Last month, the airline also launched a new ‘Business Plus’ service targeting companies wanting to cut costs. The benefits of this new ticket modality include ticket change flexibility, greater baggage allowance, priority boarding, and premium seats.
