There is some tragic news this evening, as it has been confirmed that the 11-year-old boy struck by a lorry in Meath last week has died in hospital this afternoon.
The young boy was hit by a truck as he crossed the road in Abbeylands South, Navan, last Sunday morning.
He was rushed to Tallagh Hospital and then transferred to Temple Street Hospital, where he sadly passed away today.
