The number of people languishing on waiting lists keeps rising, as the Government looks on in passive amusement.
Official figures show that a whooping 685,000 are currently waiting for treatment. 6,000 people were added to the list during the month of October alone.
Yet, according to Minister for Health Simon Harris, October was the third month in a row that people were ‘actively’ waiting for a procedure.
