Brown University in the US has censored its own study on gender dysphoria after it found that teens who seek to change their gender are likely influenced by their peers or celebrities, Daily Wire reports.

Lisa Littman, assistant professor of the practice of behavioural and social sciences at Brown University, spoke to 250 parents of children who suffered from rapid-onset gender dysphoria and found that increased social media use and knowing another child who suffered from gender dysphoria was a common theme amongst their children prior to their decision to begin to imitate the opposite gender according to, Science Daily.

However, the University took down a news story on the fact that teens may seek to change their gender identity based on desires to imitate peers, after leftists and trans activists attacked the scientific study for hurting their feelings, Fox News reported.
