The search is continuing off the coast of Co Mayo today for a local fisherman who has been missing since Friday.
The search has been focused in the area near where the man’s empty boat was found at Broadhaven Bay on Friday evening. The boat was found washed ashore with the electricity and lights still on, and the fisherman nowhere in sight.
Two dive teams joined the search today, along with two lifeboats, two coast guard vessels and four teams on foot searching the shoreline.
The Shannon helicopter and 13 local boats are also assisting.
