Secondary school teachers could soon be set to take industrial action in an effort to receive better pay

Secondary school teachers could be the next inline to take Industrial action in a bid to receive better pay.

The news comes after the ASTI said last night that second-level teachers may be forced to take action as qualified teachers are on inferior pay scales.

However before any ballot on industrial action, the union confirmed they will hold a protest outside the Dáil this evening in order to highlight their concerns.
