Security fears heightened in the Germany city of Dortmund after three explosives hit Borussia Dortmund team bus




There were heightened security fears in the city of Dortmund tonight as three explosions have hit a bus carrying the Borussia Dortmund football team to their home Champions League quarter-final match against Monaco.

According to reports one player was injured in the incident as Spain international Marc Bartra had to be taken to hospital after suffering an injury to his hand.

The highly anticipated game was postponed due to the incident. Meanwhile Dortmund police have said first indications were that this was an “attack with serious explosives”,

They also said: “Three explosive charges had detonated” at Hoechsten outside the city at approximately 19:00 local time.
