World number one Serena Williams won her 21st Grand Slam title this afternoon at Wimbledon.
The 33-yr-old overcame a slow start and eight double faults to beat Spain’s Garbine Muguruza 6-4 6-4 in a relatively straightforward manner.
She has now won the last 4 Grand Slams in a row and is honoured with a media-named “Serena Slam”.
Williams has won all of this year’s Slams and if she wins the US, she’ll be the first player to win the Grand Slam since Steffi Graf in 1988.
