Despite numerous ‘attempts’ and ‘initiatives’ put forward by the Government, the deepening crisis at A&E departments nationwide continues.
Today, almost 300 people are waiting for admission across hospitals in Ireland.
According to the figures released today, Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar is the most overcrowded, with 28 people in need of a bed.
The Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore and the Tallaght Hospital in Dublin have 25 each, while University Hospital Limerick and St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin both have 23 waiting.
