Shannon Airport-bound Aer Lingus flight diverted to Belfast due to emergency on board





An Aer Lingus flight bound for Shannon Airport had to be diverted to Belfast due to an emergency on board earlier today.

Flight EI-3675 was en route from Edinburgh in Scotland to Shannon, but was diverted to Belfast.

The nature of the emergency has not been disclosed.
