Facebook maybe one of the biggest websites on the planet that with over 2 billion users who interact with each on a daily basis without the need for face to face interaction, but now it seems the company who is renowned for being the largest online social hub seems to want to put human interaction back on the map by building its own town.
The company which allows users to share and comment on almost anything will now have its very own real life community if the state of California grants their application to build the mammoth park at its Menlo Park, California corporate campus.
According to reports stateside the social media giant plans on building the friendly town on a 56-acre site which will be directly located across the road from Facebook’s headquarters.
The ambitious project will apparently include 1.6 million square feet of housing along with retail stores and a hotel.
