A barber who shaved the head of a 10 year old boy as part of a punishment, bass been jailed for eight months.
According to Sky News, the man Abdulrahim Omar, 21, was jailed at Luton Crown Court after he was found guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
It is alleged the boy who has not been named for legal reasons, suffered psychological and physical harm during the incident which occurred on February 18th.
The boy who also said he was humiliated by the incident, was given a number one haircut and made to sweep up his hair trimmings after Omar decided to punish him for playing with a razor.
It is also alleged the barber who dished out the rather unusual punishment believing that the boy’s actions were dangerous, made the young boy sweep up the trimmings in front of onlooking customers who pointed and laughed.
Omar who pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him will now spend eight months behind bars after a judge found him guilty of his actions.
