The 13-yr-old boy that stands accused of murdering Ana Kriegel has appeared before the High Court to apply for bail.
14-yr-old Ana Kreigel was found dead at a disused farmhouse near Lucan three days after she went missing.
The lead investigator Garda Inspector Mark O’Neill opposed bail being granted to the accused on grounds of evidence that had been uncovered but cannot at this time be revealed for legal reasons.
The judge will make his decision on whether or not bail will be granted on Friday.
