25-yr-old Hasan Bal has been charged in court today with providing an “unnamed” terrorist organistion with funds.
According to RTE News, Bal holds both and Irish and British passport and is facing two charges in court; attempting to provide funds to a terrorist organisation, and providing funds to such an organisation.
The charges go back to October 2015 but the terrorist group in question has not been revealed.
He will appear on in court again next Tuesday in Waterford. Locals are said to be shocked at revelations that a possible major international terrorist group was being helped funded from Waterford.
