A very heavily pregnant woman has been airlifted to hospital after a two-car head-on collision in Cork.
The collision saw a total of three woman injured with two in one car and another woman driving in the opposite direction.
The crash happened on the N20 road around one kilometre from Buttevant just after 11am.
Three units of the emergency services attended the scene and it’s understood the woman is in a serious condition but both mother and baby are being tended to by top doctors in Cork University Hospital.
