A woman in her 60s sadly lost her life after being attacked by two dogs.
The shocking event happened in Moycullen, Co. Galway, yesterday.
It is understood the woman was visiting a relative when two bullmastiff dogs attacked her. She suffered horrific injuries and died at the scene.
The animals were shot dead by neighbours who came to her aid.
