Shocking: Elderly woman viciously attacked and has her Nokia phone stolen




In truly shocking and disgraceful story an elderly woman has been badly beaten and had her Nokia phone and cash stolen from her after getting off a bus in Belfast yesterday evening.

The horrifying and sickening attack is believed to have occurred on the Falls Road in Belfast at approximately 7.30pm. The woman reportedly told police that was brutally knocked to the ground after she turned into the alleyway that leads to Ardmoulin Avenue the ruthless thug them proceeded to stand over her before stripping her of her belongings. It is understood the woman received a number of injuries in the attack.

The PSNI say a Nokia phone and cash in euro was stolen, and they are currently appealing for information. The assailant is described as being approximately 18-19 years old, thin build, about 5’11” tall. He was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood pulled up over his head and a black coloured scarf over his face.

The PSNI say anyone with any information is asked to contact Police at Woodbourne on the non-emergency number 101. Or they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
