Over the past few years there has been a recent surge in the sale of robot sex dolls across the world, and even more worryingly there has also been a recent rise in the sales of child sex dolls on the black market.
However despite the growing concerns amongst leading policing authorities across the globe about the recent up-turn in sales for the child like dolls, robotics experts have amazingly claimed that the doll’s could actually be used to rehabilitate jailed paedophiles.
According to Britain’s The Daily Star newspaper, leading experts in the field say they believe that the robots could actually be used by convicted paedophiles in prison and whilst they are out on parole.
The experts claim that the child like doll’s could be beneficial to those who wish to be cured of their sexual perversions.
Speaking to the paper one leading robotics expert said that, he could see a scenario were the doll’s would be used as part of a reconditioning process were mental health experts would work with prisoners by giving them a doll whilst in prison and then again whilst they are on probation.
The expert added it would certainly be an option that those in the psychology profession should consider.
