Gardai have announced that the body of a man in his 20s who was shot dead has been located on the Meath/Kildare border.
The man’s body was discovered in a field in Co Meath between the towns of Leixlip and Dunboyne at 12:05pm today.
It’s understood that the man was known to gardai.
Forensic teams have closed off the area for a technical examination.
