A shop in Belmullet Co Mayo who is set to profit from selling the winning lotto Saturday night’s €13.7m jackpot has said they have also sold a winning Euromillions ticket worth €500,000 in 2015.
The shop Carey’s newsagents and bookstore on the town’s Main St will claim a significant sum in the wake of the recent windfall for one local resident. Although its not the first time the retailer has experienced a win as in August 2015, the same retailer sold a winning Euromillons Plus ticket.
The Irish Lotto jackpot was finally won after a succession of roll overs dating back as far as November. The winning numbers were: 10, 12, 13, 19, 43, and 45 with the bonus number being 5.
The lucky winner has yet to come forward.
