Siberian Spring: Forcasters expect cold blast next week that will see temperatures plummet to -7c in most places 




Ireland and the UK could be soon set for another bitter spell as forcasters have warned that a sudden cold snap is expected to hit next week.

The unseasonably wintry condition are expected to occur, after recent projections found that the Irish/British isles is set to be hit by Siberian blast thay will see temperatures plunge to as low as -10c in some places.

According to Irish Weather Online (IWO) the cold snap which will come after reasonably mild spell, will bring heavy snowfall and bitterly cold conditions that will see temperatures below zero during the day.

IWO say the unusual cold spell could hit the country as soon as Sunday the 25th of February, with temperatures expected to remain low until early March.

It is expected that the East of the country will be the worst affected with temperatures expected to plummet to -2c during the day, whilst they are expected to drop even further overnight with lows of -7c expected in many places.
