Sickening: Boy, 13, has knife held to his throat during a vicious attack outside Dublin DART Station




Gardaí in North Dublin have launched an investigation after a 13-year-old boy was sickeningly beaten and had a knife held to his throat at a DART station.

It is understood the teenager was attacked by two youths at Sutton station at approximately 5:30pm on Wednesday evening.

The attack which has been highlighted on social media, left the boy with minor injuries.

It is believed the teenager who had his phone and gym bag stolen in the attack was repeatedly punched and kicked by the youths who then threatened him with a knife in order to unlock his phone.

The latest attack has prompted residents living in the area to vigilant as a group of youths have been seen targeting people in the area.

Gardai say they have been made aware of the attack and investigation is currently ongoing.
