Police in the UK have launched a major investigation after and are searching for three men after they deliberately targeted three a year in an acid attack.
The sickening attack which has seen the young infant suffer severe burns to his face occurred at approximately 2:15pm on Saturday afternoon whilst the child was out shopping with his family in Worcester.
Police say the child who was sitting in a push chair at the time of the incident received bad facial burns after the men threw an acid like substance in his face in what has been described as a ‘deliberate attack.’
Police investigating the incident say they have reviewed CCTV of the incident and have identified three men believed to be involved in the attack.
Although thankfully the child has since been released from hospital police say they are unsure what affects the burns will have on the child both mentally and physically.
