In a truly shocking and sickening story dog owners across the country are being warned to be on alert after two innocent dogs were brutally attacked with chemicals in Cork.
According to reports the one of the disgusting attacks took place in Ballincollig around two weeks ago while the second attack occurred in Cobh.
The owner of the dog Cobh said their dog was in the back garden of a family home when a chemical was poured over him. The defenceless dog also received holes in his back from someone poking him with an iron.
The horrifying incidents were discovered on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork’s RedFM earlier today, when a listener by the name of Danielle Murphy contacted the show to talk about how her dog who was viciously attacked by ruthless thugs in Ballincollig.
Thankfully both dogs are said to be recovering from their injuries but they are deeply traumatised by the attacks. The above images were posted by Animal Rescue Cobh on their Facebook page.
