It has been reported in the past hour that singer Tom Petty has been taken off of life support after he was found unconscious in his California home on Sunday.
According to Entertainment website TMZ, the 66-year-old former Heartbreakers star was found in cardiac arrest, not breathing at his home.
It is believed the famed singer was taken to hospital unconscious and was struggling to breath.
The popular entertainment website goes onto say “We’re told after Petty got to the hospital he had no brain activity and a decision was made to pull life support.”
Petty’s condition is still unknown as a spokesperson for the singer refused to comment on the situation and his condition.
