A six year old boy is currently in serious condition in hospital this morning following a road traffic incident in Co Cork on Monday evening.
It is understood the boy was seriously injured following an accident on the main Kinsale Road between Belgooly and Riverstick at approximately 7pm.
Gardaí say the boy sustained serious injuries in the incident and he is currently being treated at Cork University Hospital.
