The incidence of skin cancer here in Ireland rose by 70% in 10 years, a report by the British Journal of Cancer has revealed today.
The report specifies that the increase took place between the years of 2005 to 2015.
Signs of possible skin cancer include pigmented moles on the skin that have either become more pigmented or have changed colour, pigmented areas that become irregular in shape, itchy, or start to bleed.
If in doubt, consult with your GP.
