The UK is bracing itself for an onslaught of heavy snowfalls and freezing temperatures nationwide over the weekend.
According to the Metro, Weather forecasters have warned that up to 15in of snow may fall in places during Saturday and Sunday, potentially causing severe disruption to both air and ground travel.
The Met Office has issued two weather warnings covering the entire weekend.
