It may be the start to an age old joke but for once a horse has actually walked into a bar in Co Limerick and social media has gone crazy since.
Yes! Facebook and Twitter has been awash with hilarious puns in recent days after one Askeston local Joe Sheahan posted this hilarious image of a noble steed in his bar.
The local bartender who has sent social media into over drive told Joe.ie: “This guy (pictured with this horse) just randomly walks in with his horse!
“I was working behind the bar on the day and I wasn’t sure how to handle it, so we just let the horse there while the guy drank a pint. I would say it lasted around five minutes. “I didn’t challenge the guy because there were other people there who were enjoying the fact there was a horse in the pub!
“We all had a great laugh so I didn’t challenge it and asked the guy for a snap.”
Ah sure we are guessing it was just a bit of horse play!
