The Stock Market has soared to new heights after President Trump, fulfilling yet another campaign promise, moved to abolish NAFTA after announcing a new trade deal with Mexico, CNBC reports.
The North American Free Trade Agreement or NAFTA was condemned as bad for America by Trump during his presidential campaign and he promised to renegotiate a trade deal with the US’ northern and southern neighbours.
Delivering on yet another pledge President Trump reached an agreement with his Mexican counterpart and now Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau must agree to the new deal which is designed to allow free trade but also protect US industry and manufacturing jobs, Business Insider reported.
The US economy is growing at a rate of 4.1% in the second quarter of 2018, something Trump promised but was of course dismissed by the media and their experts.
Unemployment in the US is currently the lowest in years with African and Latino-American unemployment the lowest in history, Fox News reported.
